The Fort Worth AGA chapter received the following awards for the 2006/2007 program year, presented at the AGA national PDC in -------, on -------, 2007:

Meeting Schedule for 2006/2007

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, from September through April, at the Olive Garden, 925 Alta Mere Drive, Fort Worth, TX, unless otherwise noted. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m.   Lunch is from 11:00 - noon.  Our chapter meeting starts at noon, with the speaker finishing at 1:00 p.m. The cost for the buffet-style lunch is $15 for members and $18 for non-members. We hold our annual golf tournament and picnic in May.

    • Sent basket for raffle at National PDC

    • Tarrant Area Food Bank, noon - 3 PM
  • October 6, 2006 (Friday)
    • Volunteer dinner party
    • Volunteer at MS Hangman's House of Horrors, to raise money to fight multiple sclerosis. We will be working the ticket booth. The volunteer coordinator asks that volunteers work the full evening since business picks up the latter part of the evening.

    • Collect cash for Tarrant Area Food Bank
  • December 2006
    • Chapter members bought toys for Salvation Army Angel Tree Program
    • This year participating Fort Worth AGA chapter members included Willie Hunter, Bob Kanaga, Paul O'Connor, Anita Wheeler, Berene Ingram, and Lakshmi Krishnamurthy.  Ten Angel gift bags were fulfilled and delivered to The Salvation Army White Settlement Simon Center.  The dollar value of the gifts donated was $836.  The Salvation Army is truly grateful for the support we provide to our area’s children

    • Members attend Empty Bowls at Bass Hall's Maddox-Muse Center. Go to www.tafb.org and click on Empty Bowls, find the online registration and order yourself a ticket.

    • Donate money and books to YWCA for CPS children. Please bring your contributions to the March 28 chapter meeting at the Fritz Lanham Federal Building.

    • Participate/donate money to Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure to fight breast cancer
